The AT series closes the bottom end on the body line. Each head carries a first and a second operation roll that act in sequence on the rotating can, so seam parameters are tuned by changing the roll profile rather than the machine.

What it does on the line

Flanged bodies and ends meet at the seaming heads under a no can, no end control. Chucks and base plates rotate positively on conical roller bearings with monobloc seaming levers; the main motor is driven by an electronic frequency converter and the machine is run from a 17-inch touch panel.
