The compound liner applies the sealing compound to curled ends and the pocket oven dries it, on round, oval or rectangular ends and on aerosol domes. Machine speed and mandrel speed are driven independently, so the bead is set without touching the line rate.

What it does on the line

Curled ends are separated by worms on both sides, lined by an electronic nozzle and conveyed through the oven in heat-resistant plastic pockets. Temperature control is automatic and adjustable; an electronic safety device supervises the flame. Size changeover is rapid and automatic on both sides.
