End curlers for diameters from 40 to 200 mm, 500 or 1,000 ends per minute, able to process DR8 material, with easy connection to presses already installed.
The CUD 520 (double) and CUS 520 (single, right or left) curl the edge of stamped ends before lining. A nine-sector modular curling ring with double channel gives the end a high number of rotations, which is what makes DR8 material workable.
Ends arrive from the press on an inlet belt whose speed is set independently from the curling ring. The ring runs on a large-diameter crossed roller bearing; guide sectors and rings are made of specially treated steel. The unit connects to existing presses without replacing them.
