Stand-alone flanger for both can ends with 6 or 8 spinning stations and ceramic rollers (SPIE flanging), 100 to 800 cans per minute.
The B 527 flanges both ends of the body at once with spinning ceramic rollers, ready for seaming. The B 527G version covers diameters from 99 to 155 mm.
Bodies enter the flanging stations where counter-rotating spinning rolls form the whole edge simultaneously on both ends, keeping the flange consistent on thin tinplate and avoiding cracks at the weld.
