Kingspan, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance insulation panels, has chosen Robopac technology to wrap its products delicately and flexibly.
Indeed, Spiror horizontal rotating ring automatic stretch film wrapping machines were considered to be the best way to meet Kingspan’s production needs and three machines were ordered.
The multinational construction giant – with production facilities around the world, with annual revenues of around €2.9 billion – has already chosen other Aetna Group machines in the past. This is therefore a consolidation of Robopac Sistemi’s position as one of Kingspan’s privileged partners in cargo protection and stabilization and an important confirmation that will lead to other stimulating projects.
Wrapping flexibility and product integrity are made possible by the MPS pre-stretch carriage (patented system) installed on Spiror wrapping machines. The fixed ratio carriage can pre-stretch film without using a built-in motor as it is mechanically driven by the rotation of the machine ring. It allows the film to be pre-stretched at the beginning of packaging and is equipped with an automatic system that controls the amount of film supplied near the corners of the product.
Robopac, thanks to this project, has earned customer trust and has surpassed its fierce competitors.
