The collaboration between Robopac and Terre di Sangiorgio arose from the need to implement an automatic and flexible line to better manage the production phases ranging from secondary packaging to palletization and stabilization of the load.
With a production that ranges from prepared sauces to Organic and Biodynamic tomato purees of superior quality, passing through processed industrial products, Terre di Sangiorgio offers high quality products, thanks to the use of cutting-edge technologies used in the harvesting, cultivation, processing and production of raw materials.
Thanks to Dimac Nova, the latest addition to the family of shrink wrappers and case packers, the Robopac Packers division has been able to offer technology in line with customer needs: the machine can, in fact, carry out all the classic secondary packaging solutions (tray and film, tray only, film only, layer pad and film), with a speed of up to 35 cycles per minute, with the possibility of taking advantage of different configurations and optional extras that can be added according to needs. Depending on the thickness of the cartons, the Dimac Nova warehouse can contain between 700 and 1500 cartons.
The end of the line is completed with a solution for both palletization and load stabilization: Palwrapp, a compact and modular palletizer, combined with a Robopac wrapping machine equipped with Cube Technology, capable of reaching productions of up to 1,200 packages or 120 layers per hour. The wrapping machine is perfectly integrated into the palletizing area and the synergistic work of the two machines is controlled by a single panel that allows the user to implement different palletizing schemes and configure the format change in a simple and intuitive way.
The Palwrapp was chosen as the ideal solution for glass because the product is accompanied in all its movements without bumps or tension. Additionally, it is a technology designed to handle complex palletizing patterns with precision, reliability and speed control.
The wrapping cycle begins when the palletizer has deposited the layers on the pallet and has reached the established minimum height, and ends with a finished and fully wrapped pallet at the exit. With Cube Technology, there is an additional guarantee of safety and stability, and a film saving of 30% to 55%.
