Thanks to the extreme flexibility and ergonomics of its end-of-line solutions, Prasmatic has recently concluded an important project for the Heinz-Bénédicta Group, giants in the production of sauces (mainly mayonnaise and ketchup) at its plant in Seclin, in the north of France.
It is a wrapping machine with TC300 Combi wrapping system and top cover, suitable and customized to meet customer requirements. The TC300 Combi range in fact allows the production of wrap-around cardboard packs, complete trays, packs with layer and film, and packs with tray and film. The inverted bottle had to be treated specifically as it is crucial for stability.
Its upward-facing conical shape made it impossible to wrap the cap optimally and, consequently, Bénédicta expressed the need to place a tray over her product.
Prasmatic, after receiving the samples, carried out a series of tests with the machine, carrying out a complex pre-sales study before defining the offer. In addition to the adaptation of the different modules, special attention has been paid to ergonomic criteria in the feeding solutions for consumable materials, as well as to the accessibility of machine parts to facilitate maintenance. Automatic format change is another added value guaranteed by Prasmatic.
In summary, the advantages that have led to the success of the project are the following:
- The enormous task carried out focused on ergonomics, which also affects the efficiency of the line;
- Flexibility not only in terms of the different formats that can be processed, but also in terms of the different types of packaging (cardboard and film)
- The ability to offer a “tailored” solution, understanding and, to the extent possible, anticipating the needs of clients.
